This will assist you in preparing your items so that you can have the best results from your sale and to give you guidelines on what will be accepted. We pride ourselves in having a professional and quality sale and want you to benefit from our experience.
Recipe for Stubborn Stain Remover 1C Calgon Bath Soap 1C Clorox 2 Powder 1C Powder Detergent (any brand) Add ingredients to washer and fill with hot water. Agitate until ingredients are mixed. Add clothing. Agitate for 2-3 minutes. Stop cycle and allow clothing to soak overnight. Run through the normal wash cycle in the morning with an extra rinse. **May not work on every stain, may cause fabric discoloration or shrinkage.

Bulk sleepers - pin a couple of sleepers together and sell for higher price

Sell outfits as ensembles (put pants with a shirt even if not bought together) people think they are getting a better deal if it is sold as an outfit

Price high and let be reduced (20% - 30% of retail for clothes, 40% - 50% of retail for toys & equipment - must be in excellent condition)

Price according to what you think you would spend on that item

Name brands can be priced higher

Put multiple books in a bag and sell as set

Clean strollers & outside toys

Describe on tag if it is a New item or Never been used or Worn once

Write on tag retail price if you know

Attach description and or instruction to toys if you have it or go on manufactures website and print off.

Use original boxes and containers if you have them

Attach accessories to outfits and sell as a set

Most shoppers are not interested in purchasing items at a consignment sale from stores such as (WalMart, Kmart, Target, etc.) unless in great condition and reasonably priced. Please price these items for $3.00 and under.
